Unique Section Design for Maximum Field Stability
The CMN Flex-Weeder is equipped with 1-metre sections that are centre-mounted around their own central axis. This design prevents the harrow sections from bouncing at high speed or on uneven soil types. The narrow one-metre sections ensure the harrow adjusts perfectly to field irregularities across the driving direction, delivering consistent and smooth tillage.
Special Tines for Uniform Soil Movement
Each Flex-Weeder is fitted with custom-built straight double-coiled tension spring tines, adjustable from 90° vertically to 45° backwards.
Years of field research have shown that these tines ensure a uniform working depth and move a large amount of soil without damaging the crop.
Tests also prove that CMN tines lift up to 80 % fewer stones than comparable harrows – reducing wear, downtime and maintenance costs.
Combine Weed Control and Seeding in One Operation
When a CMN pneumatic seed drill is mounted on the CMN Flex-Weeder, farmers can establish catch crops simultaneously with the final weed-control pass.
The pneumatic seed drill is perfectly suited for small-seeded crops such as clover, grasses and cover crops, ensuring precise distribution and excellent germination.
Advanced Seeding Control with the CMN FW280
The CMN pneumatic seed drill FW280 is available with either mechanical infinitely variable transmission or GPS-controlled dosing (G-Can system).
A key advantage is that no tractor GPS system is required – the seeder operates independently, providing simple and precise application control.
