20 Years with the Kvik-Killer – and We Chose It Again
For Mogens and Kristian Hansen near Give, Denmark, there was no real doubt when it was time to replace their old Kvik-Killer.
They bought their first machine back in 2004, and after nearly 20 years in the field, it was simply time for a new one.
“We’ve been running a Kvik-Killer since 2004 and have covered a lot of hectares with it. Over the years, we’ve also tested other machines on the market to see if there was something better.
But we keep coming back to the Kvik-Killer from CMN. It has proven to be the most effective solution against couch grass – and at the same time the most economical to run when it comes to wear parts and spare parts.
That really matters when you’re covering 300–400 hectares per year.”
After the first season with the new version, they are confident they made the right decision.
“The improvements made to the new model are clearly noticeable in practice. The new stone release system has reduced stone build-up in the rotor by around 90%.
It’s a machine that simply fits our operation.”
