FW 280 & FW 400 seed box
The CMN Grass boxes are used on many various machines.
It can be supplied as a 280 liter or 400 liter – Mechanical og Electric driven
The sowing machines are available in working widths from 4 m to 12 m, and they are all constructed with a free choice of outlets from 4 to 12 pcs.
The seeds are distributed by cam rollers.
The sowing machines are available with mechanical gearbox or a electrical GPS control unit.
The seeds are transported to the individual sowing drills by air pressure. Sowing machines on harrows with 4 to 6 metres working width are equipped with a 12 V DC centrifugal blower (EE).
Sowing machines on harrows with 7 to 12 metres working width are equipped with a hydraulic centrifugal blower (HE) with continually adjustable air volume.
Sowing tubes:
The individual sowing tubes are formed as baffle plates and mounted in front of the tines of the harrow. That means, as soon as the seeds hit the ground, they are covered with soil by the harrow tines, during processing.
The harrow tines apply a little pressure on the soil and thereby helping to ensure a good germination.
